First one I used spun freely on the spindle second the wires moved out of center to one side I'm guessing the "washers" that hold the wires together not tight enough

Handy tools to have if you own a drill. These wire brushes are strong - good for heavy duty work.

These brushes work as intended but they are inexpensive and therefore not surprising that the bristles come off while in use. Therefore you need to use these in a contained workspace or outside otherwise you will scatter around the tiny wires.

I purchased this set thinking the price was great for the amount and variety of brushes. The amount of times I use steel brushes is is at best minimal and usually end up running to the hardware store and buying a couple at close to the price I paid for 24 . After receiving my order I needed to brush some rust of outdoor furniture and was really amazed at how well and quickly they removed the rust . The variety of brushes made getting into small and tight areas a breeze. All in all they a very good quality for my needs and probably will last the rest of my time. I would recommend these steel brushes to anyone.

Was pleasantly surprised. Used several of the sizes to clean a rusted top of a grill, and put some real work into it. The brushes did well, better than I was expecting and have many more for future use, including the ones we used. I'd say if you need brushes like these, get them. Excellent price compared to HD, which has gotten god awful crazy with their pricing.
