I was expecting to be disappointed, even for the price! When the description said that the wires are properly aligned and crimped so as not to fly out or fray, I thought "why not? I'll try them at this price and buy more in a month when all the wires have fallen off of one side as usual." These haven't fallen off. They're in there good and tight! Seriously, get these.

Purchased for some automotive rust repair. It makes quick work to get to clean metal for welding and seam sealing. Priced right and nice variety for hard to reach places. Loved so much I bought a second set for my buddy that was helping (doing) the welding.

I used one of these for cleaning out the moss that had grown into the crevices of my stone block walkway outside. I am pleasantly surprised how well it has held up under the use I have given it.

I used these to clean up the live edge and remove bark from walnut and sissoo for a series of end and coffee tables. My only con is that the red (stiffest) brush wasn't quite stiff enough so I had to use a steel cup to get all the bark off, which meant more sanding, and THEN taking it down further with the red, gray and blue to get a smooth enough edge to pour and still hold epoxy. But they are well made and if you're not trying to strip/shape a piece of hardwood they're VERY effective when used in graduated order!

I used these to strip rust from handrails to prepare for repainting and they worked very well. There is a nice assortment of sizes and shapes so I was able to get into tight spots and clean the rust away down to bare metal for primer. They are aggressive and I used them with a portable drill making the job easy and quick.

My cement front step had paint that was peeling. Let me tell you it looked terrible. I took one of the brushes that sticks out (okay, so I don't know what it's called), anyway, put it in my drill. And OMG... did it ever start taking the flaking paint off. I worked at it for about 15-20 minutes, rinsed off with water.... let it set for a bit (in reality I went in to rest..I'm over 70).. went back out... with another 10 minutes or so of work, I had the flakes off and the porch smooth enough that I could put a new coat of paint on. I wish I had taken a before and after picture... but I was really impressed with the way this bristle brush worked.

I have an older model RecTec 680 Pellet Smoker where many parts are heavy stainless steel but the body and cold smoke box were a painted heavy steel. RecTec has an excellent reputation and I love my pellet smoker, but it appears that during the Chinese manufacturing process rusty steel plates were used and painted over. Since 2017, the steel body and cold smoke box started to flake and rust so I decided to take the pellet smoker apart and utilize these Wire Cups brushes with a heavy battery powered drill to remove the paint and rust. I put significant pressure on these air cups removing paint and rust to expose a clean steel surface to repaint. They still look like they are brand new. I'd recommend them!

My husband used these when he wanted to prepare some tire rims for repainting. He was impressed with how easy these made the job, much easier than sanding by hand.
