Garbage! It definitely gets the rivet out but destroys the hole on the process

So the first one the bolt stripped out so it's useless. The second one the tip broke off on the 3rd rivet this is not worth the money currently looking for something else

Used this tool to remove the self piercing rivets from a door jamb appature panel on an f250. Was skeptical because the tool said it was door skin repair and a few reviews people said it broke on the second or third rivet. Used the tool successfully to remove almost 100 self piercing rivets from the truck body without issue using both an impact gun and gear wrench when there wasn't room to get the impact gun in there. Used anti sieze on the thread of the bolt every so often to make sure it didn't bind. Make sure to use the tool on the proper side of the rivet when removing (not sure if that's what caused the other people failure). Gave it 4 stars because every so often the rivet being pushed out would get stuck in the hole on the tool and had to use a screw driver to pop it out so i could remove the next one, maybe that's an issue with it possibly being better suited for the 3.5mm rivets as opposed to the 5mm ones on the body of the truck, yet not every one got stuck as a bunch fell through the opening cleanly, but again the tool worked for what i used it for and i didn't have to spend a couple thousand buying the battery powered tool for a limited use job.

Did not install the rivet in all the way. Unsafe. Come to find out it is only for door skin repair only and still did not work.

Rivet pin broke on the 2nd Rivet removal , Emailed Steck twice to try to get a replacement pin . NO RePLY from Steck !!Waste of $$$$$$$$$$$

Great tool. Great shipping. Does not work good when it has to punch through 4 layers of hardened steel like on 2015 Taurus. In its defense, at that point only a plasma cutter did the job but it no longer was a clean job.
