I installed this in my wife's car. Installation went easily and downloading the programming was not a big chore, I was just nervous, thinking it might not work. It's been several "starts" since then and it has worked flawless, every time. I love this idea that this works with the OEM key fob!

Installed, correctly, flashed the first try. Had everything buttoned up and back together in less than 30 minutes. Works as advertised. Great product

The instructions are not the best but wiring to your car is a fairly simple process and took about 20min. After you get the wiring in your car installed, you need to log onto the manufactures site, create an account and download software so that you can program the remote that stays with the wiring setup in your car. Long story short, you cannot download the software without a PC that has Windows. I tried with both a MacBook and Chromebook and it did not work. I even went to a public computer at a school that had Windows but it would not allow me to use the software needed because of restrictions of what can be done with their computers. It was not worth the hassle to try anything further and thankfully Amazon did do a refund. The description for this product, on Amazon, and even the instructions that came with the starter neglected to let people know that Windows is required, which in my opinion, is dishonest.

The product is fairly easy to install. My delay was of my own fault for failing to connect one plug. If everything goes well the install should only take 30-45 minutes. My model required programming via my laptop, but the process was easy.

Bought this for my wife’s Highlander (2018) and it has performed flawlessly. My only complaint is that the auto start turns off when you open the door and forces the engine to be restarted when you get in the car. Other than that, it’s great. Always turns on when used and has not caused any issues with the vehicle.

I installed the starter in about 90 minutes. I rushed some steps and had to repeat them, and needed to replay parts of the programing video. If I were going to install another one, I would be able to do it in half the time. Following the instructions on an I phone is convenient, but the small screen makes it a little difficult, a bigger screen will be better. You’re told to remove the battery on the fob during installation, they should mention to put them back in after all the work is completed. Don’t rush and take your time is the best advice I can give.

Got it installed and programmed in my 2023 Traverse first try. The steps in the book are simple enough to follow, and I watched a good install video from a different brand since they're pretty much all the same. Thanks to the guy that recommended putting both fobs in the slot at the same time, that worked great. The side panel is a pain to get off and on but I managed to not break it. I did not unbolt the seat, but I would recommend it if you have the T50 bit to do it with. The seat rail blocks one of the trim clips and also makes putting it back on unnecessarily difficult. I'll probably add on the carlink phone app at some point since it looks like a simple plug in adapter.
