I used these stand-offs for a recent computer build I did, and I replaced the black steel ones that came with the computer case. The brass is easier to work with, both to screw into the computer case, and for the motherboard mounting screws to screw into. Glad I used them.

I was in the IT field for 25 years, so of course I had to get into building, upgrading and repairing PCs.I knew a few people that had the same "hobby" as me. We were always asking each other for that "whatever" we needed. It's much easier now. I just look on Amazon and there it is!These standoffs are great. They fit where they are supposed to go, they are all the specified length, and they are reasonably priced too.

Used for motherboard standoffs on my custom SFF build. Great quality, decent price and have held up perfectly.

I've deducted a star from value for money, but left the overall rating a 5. Why a 15 pack? 9 would be exactly enough, 18 would be a nice flush 2 pack. Even some other even number short of 18 would allow for two builds missing the same number of standoffs, but nope. Other than that, they're perfectly fine brass standoffs of apparently fine build quality. The case I ended up building in included standoffs pre-installed, but where of particularly low quality and maybe painted along with the case? I'm not sure what their issue was, but I got several case screws installed just fine, but then several others stuck, so I just pulled them all out and used these instead. These fit perfectly the fist time with no problems... And now I have six more for some apparent reason...

These standoffs feel decent and fit nicely, but they don't come with an adapter so that you can screw them in with a screwdriver. I had to do it with my thumb instead.

I assumed when buying this that the post and socket were 6-32 but when receiving the product I got a 6-32 post and M3 socket. For those who care the standoff height is 0.25 inches or 6.5mm. I am very disappointed that not all dimensions on the web are posted. Having purchased 15, I can replace all the standoffs on my computer case but now have to round up M3 screws.

Initially I purchased these to use in a case but then I noticed these were only 1/4" long whereas the ones in the case were 3/8" long, so I set these aside and as luck would have it I had an opportunity to work on another case that used 1/4" standoffs, but they were not made of brass and 3 were stripped. Startech to the rescue. With these on hand I was able to solve the problem and get on with the build.I wish all case manufactures standardized on one height and one screw pattern but that might be asking for too much in this day and age.

Used these to mount my GPU so I could mount rbg infront of my GPU using same PCIe hole placement

I had to end up replacing some parts on my computer, as me being the genius I am, broke my last one due to not using these things. What more can I say, these sturdy little things will hold your motherboard in place a couple of centimeters away form your case, preventing any static discharges that may kill your board. A little tactic I used to make the process easier was aligning my motherboard with holes on the case, taking tiny pieces off of a piece of paper, rolled them up into tiny, rice sized rolls, and put them in the holes which lines up with my motherboard. Then I took the mother board off and screwed these babies in. Some of them were hard to get in and I thought I may have bought the wrong one, but I then realized that it was either the paint or metal that was preventing some these from going in, so I had to use a small wrench and painstakingly force them in. Well worth it though. My computer is running fine with no issues.Overall, if you're building a new PC, then these will be a essential.

They fit perfectly, and were identical to the standoffs that were provided with my case.I had an issue with a few standoffs stripping after years of the motherboard being taken in and out of my case (also due to me using the incorrect screws, unfortunately). I had a few spare standoffs, but not enough to cover the rest. I searched online and came across these. For around $5 and 15 standoffs, I decided to order them to replace my old ones. There isn't much else to say other than that they fit, and made my case usable. Keep in mind that there are longer standoffs, so if your case needs them, these aren't the ones to use. Thankfully, most cases use the same size, so these should work just fine.

I used these for a custom case-from-scratch design, they work fine (I used the 6-32 rather than the M3 simply because I already had a tap for that size). Nothing remarkable about them one way or another, but the 15 pack is far more than you need for a normal motherboard. These seem like they are the same height as the ones in my store-bought case, so if you are looking to replace those for some reason these will probably work. Only thing I would change is that I wish they were cheaper :)
