I hesitated a bit with this purchase since we all go for the ones with quite bit of positive reviews. Do I regret it? No. But this also leaves opportunity for improvement in the future. As an industrial designer myself I did my best to judge based on what I see from the photos. Overall, it's a decent rack that does NOT wobble once bolted down fully, and it came with enough hardware in nice quality that I can use for future attachments too. Don't expect the design to really accommodate your tonneau cover- I had to take off my Truxedo Low-pro coz they were absolutely incompetible. The pinch type mounting brackets are not ideal for a gladiator without the factory accessory rails. In my case the ones close to the tail gate can't fully engage due to the two factory nuts behind the plastic at where they were mounted. The other two parts of mounts were seated okay but without the side plates each of the 3 rack can rock back and forth with some forces due to the flex in the brackets sitting on top of your bed threshold. The sides plates were the final touch to set everything in place- in my case they completely eliminated any wobble in the system and now if I try to rock it, all the forces would go into the suspension. If you are working with a budget like me, this will for sure last you a while. If you are looking to put a hard shell type RTT like mine, you will have to use the high position like I did and overhang the tent over your rear passengers, because the maximum footprint of the rack is too short if you want to mount the RTT flush with your cab roof and you will end up with a 20" overhang which is problematic in many ways. But if you use a side fold soft shell RTT, you could utilize the lower rack position and have the soft shell pretty much flush with your roof.
