I am not very knowledgeable of or experienced with oil spill kits like these...I grew up learning toUse kitty litter and a dust pan. That being said, I have heard good things about these types of spill kits and took the opportunity to try it out.This cut comes with two tubes and several sheets of absorbant material, each sheet perforated down the center for easily tearing into smaller sheets if needed, although it does tear fairly easily anyway. These are contained in a zippered bright yellow nylon bag with handles.I find the materials to be VERY absorbant, holding plenty of oil and very quickly absorbing it. This made for very easy collection, cleaning, and disposal. Much easier and quicker than the cat litter, and dust free, too. I likenthe bag's size and color, and bold print, making it very easy for anyone to locate hanging on my garage wall.I would order this again.

This spill kit contains good quality absorbent tubes and a good amount of absorbent sheets all in one convenient compact zippered bag. The bag itself is not waterproof so just make sure you don’t leave it out where it can get wet or else all of the contents inside will get soaked with water. It rained the day I opened it, and I accidentally left it outside for a little bit and water soaked in, but I was able to just leave the contents out to dry. Very happy with the quality of this spill kit.

It's a few parts, some boom and some oil sorbs. The bag is thin cheap nylon and should really be a heavier material. You really don't want wet boom sitting behind a vehicle seat.

The pack comes with several sheets of absorbent pad as well as 4 roll border absorbers. It's in a nice bright yellow carry bag with handles. This definitely helps me have peace of mind. We are properly protected, but to know that we have the proper first line of defense against spills gives me peace of mind. It helps us stay somewhat compliant. We use chemicals and vehicles daily. We want to protect our environment for the future of those to come. This helps contain the spill or leak immediately. The bag weighs nothing and has room for plenty more items of you needed to store more in there. Being absorbent pads, the bag compresses and fits into smaller spaces than its actual size. This honestly helps, it's a decent size bag/kit. Not overly large, but can be awkward to store, so compressing it helps. The bag is somewhat thin. I wouldn't rely on it for a lot of weight or to lastbin inclement weather. I think it's a definite store in a dry place item, lol.

We recently had a piece of heavy equipment blow a hydraulic hose at a residential job site and hydraulic oil poured out everywhere. We weren't prepared with a spill kit, so we had to call in another company for emergency cleanup. When I saw this spill kit, I knew we had to have it to keep in the trucks for emergencies. I ordered one and I'm very impressed with the quality. The bag is sturdy and the mats/wattles pack up slimly inside so it can be tucked behind or under the vehicle seat. I plan to order more so we can keep one in every truck. I hope we don't have to use it to clean up a spill anytime soon, but I'm glad we'll be prepared when the time comes!

We had a car go into our pool and leak oil,which made quite a mess! My wife found these pads on Amazon and had read another who had the same problem ,so we thought to give it a try, put the pads in the water, and moved around the pool until they collected enough oil .. used 1 kit and that took 80% of the oil mess out..what's nice, when removing from pool,oil doesn't leak back into pool.. worked fantastic! Took a few hours,but you can see the before and after pictures, what a difference...saved us a ton having a tanker trunk come out and charging $1000s! Would highly recommend
