I think the speck inside is in fact some sort of bug. Probably not much bigger than a fruit fly. If it's a wow gift I'd spend the money and get something much bigger.

What a rip off these rock is tiny and amber with a black speck. This is for my Gson I am sure he will be disappointed. Biggest rip off on Amazon!

Mine was nothing like the pictures. Small speck but no identifiably bugs. And thats with inspection through the built in magnifying glass. So disappointed!

It was smaller than I realized it would be, but it came quickly and has an interesting insect inside that my son will love.
