We've used this during summer to fall when we're on a road trip or even if we go away for a day. I make homemade lemonade and we haven't bought outside since then. I love the aesthetic and durability.. easy clean as well! We recommend this!

I used it for the first time a few weeks ago. Worked out great! Considering the amount of liquor you are making for either a homemade sangria or whatever specialty cocktail , it can get expensive to make a large batch. Because of that reason we used reusable ice cubes which was good because the drink stayed cold and never got watered down. After the party we were able to store it in the fridge and have a drink if we wanted, so nothing got watered down and gone to waste. Only complaint is the spout does leak, but not terribly. Definitely a good buy.

I purchased this large Stanley jug for camping over memorial day weekend to hold over 2 gallons of water so my kids can easily fill their water bottles up as needed. The seal is tight and it has clasps that keeps the lid secure. I never had any issues with spilling or leaking. It was great to store on the outside door of our camping trailer. It was very versatile and portable. Great quality it kept the water cold the entire weekend With a little bit of ice, I’d highly recommend. I wish it was a little bit bigger, but it works great and camping.

Alright where do I begin, so recently purchased this 2 gallon Stanley jug. I in the desert and my alot outdoor activities with the family. So this size is very practical for sports and just hanging out does not take to much space and use the secret of having ice all day in the desert heat. I fill my jig with a 3rd of ice and then the water and a little bit more ice. The product is very well made, keeps my water cold all day and had ice still left over the day before. I truly enjoy thus product, my older brother had one first and we bring them every sports function. 4 gallons of eater amongst almost 12 to 20 people goes a long way for a couples hours in the desert sun. I may purchased another one cause they got cool colors. My father just got his too, with his Stanley mugs. I would recommend giving this product a chance. It will impress you for the value. P.S. my pups enjoy the refreshing cold water too. They have their own special drinking bowls. This product is a win win Thank you Stanley products for an amazing jug.

The size of this is great for easily carrying around. I did not want to lug some of the traditional larger water jugs so this midsized option is perfect. The water valve is large enough to quickly fill containers and has not leaked through 3 months of use. The insulation is very good and it keeps ice longer than most jugs I've tried in the past. I recommend getting ice molds to make 2 inch cubes or larger to keep your liquid cold longer. I also chose the white jug to keep things cooler in full sun.

Es hält sehr lange die Getränke gekühlt und ist dicht!!! Ist optimal für Touren mit dem Auto, man hat durch das große Fassungsvermögen sehr lange etwas Eisgekühltes zu trinken. Wir benützten ihn mit gekühlten Wasser und einer Packung Eiswürfel. Können dann bei Bedarf etwas in den kleineren Stanley -1,5l abfüllen und geben dann einen der verschiedenen zuckerfreien Getränkesirup dazu und schon haben wir etwas tolles zu trinken immer griffbereit. Bei uns ist er dicht, da wir zum Transport immer das Ventil schließen ( siehe Anleitung). Mich hatten die Rezessionen die das Auslaufen beschrieben erst verwirrt, aber wenn man nach Anleitung zum Wasserzapfen das Ventil öffnet und nach Gebrauch wieder verschließt, baut sich innen das Vakuum auf und alles ist in Ordnung und nichts läuft aus!!!!

Absolutely love this thing. I carry a 40oz Hydroflask for myself and a few smaller ones for the kids, but in the Texas heat, even running around doing errands in the car, we often go through our regular water bottles. I used to have a 1 gallon RTIC, but it wasn’t enough water and it was also cumbersome since it was a pouring bottle. This is the perfect solution. 2 gallons is a great size; not too big, not too small. It is easy to fill up, easy to disassemble the spigot and clean, stays perfectly sealed, it keeps water cold, and the taste doesn’t change after the water has been in there for a day. Really easy to use to fill up our water bottles on the go. I bring this with us in the car virtually everywhere we go and also easily carry it or throw it in a wagon to bring with us to an activity. I am pretty obsessed with this thing. Anytime I think that I don’t really need to bring it with us, I regret it. One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made! It’s also really cute.

It can keep the water cold for 3 days , I took it for couple of camps and it worked great.It’s tough too and handy.

This is one of the few jugs in this price category that has proper insulation. The red and blue camping jugs you find at your local grocery store are thin walled and never have a fully insulated top like this one. The latches are easy to open and close, and the spigot press is very well designed, no more jamming your finger in that little button press or snapping off a lever handle. The jug keeps ice very well, especially if you can at least keep it out of direct sunlight. The lid has a pressure release valve which is handy and important as I will describe later on.The spigot can be disassembled for cleaning, though upon inspection there doesn't seem to be any type of o-ring or other seal other than the threaded nut itself holding the spigot. While the top latches close and open very easily, they almost open too easily for my preferences.As for leaking, this unit will not leak as long as you follow a few simple guidelines. First is to keep it out of direct sunlight as much as you can, and at least keep the spigot pointed away from the sun. Temperature changes can expand and contract just about any material, and this jug is no exception. The jug itself will absorb more heat than the lighter colored spigot, which itself should be cooler from being in partial contact with the liquid inside. A small expansion/contraction between the two materials can cause a leak. Second, always have the pressure valve open when putting on the lid. While cold liquids and ice should create a small vacuum inside the jug in a few minutes, you don't want any positive pressure inside. You may want to wait a few minutes after filling with cold liquids before transport, as the small vacuum that builds up will help make sure there are no leaks.In all this is a great jug, though I wish they would have had a proper seal design around the spigot to deal with possible expansion leaks.
