There's a big ol' logo on the side that they don't show in pictures, which was okay with me, but more importantly: thing lasted through maybe a half dozen uses over about a year and a half before it started leaking absolutely everywhere. It worked great, until it didn't, which came way sooner than I can forgive. Can't recommend.

I was disappointed in this. The plastic collar that fits over the opening falls off constantly. You don't really need it, but it doesn't look great without it (there is glue staining and string underneath) and I suspect that part will wear out quickly without the collar.I bought this to use as a "Medieval" water bottle for cosplay and Ren fests and stuff, but it really looks too plastic and cheap. I had thought maybe I could decorate it in some way to improve the looks, but since cap part is so flimsy, the red parts look cheap, and it is really hard to wash out, it's just not worth it. It got 2 stars instead of 1 because the taste was good, as advertised.

It is good for the price and it is the same quality of the ones that you can see in a regular store for tourist in Spain.I was in Spain last year and I tryed to buy one in the souvenir stores, this one looks exactly the same, the reazon why I didn't bought it it in Spain was because, all of them had painted designs that I didn't like. The one from Amazon does not have designs only a stamp that says made in Spain and it looks good.

I purchase two of these for a pride festival. Did not want to constantly stand on line in the heat or miss some performances, not to mention the inflated drink prices. This event is sponsored every year by the city. You are permited to bring your own drink, but not into local bars. I packed one with Two olives Purple Vodka and club soda, the other with a red wine. They both perfored great. No added tast from the bags, and they proved durable and portable. The Vodka one lasted the entire six hour, wine was gone in two, go fiquire (partner had the wine). Very good purchase!

As a Spanish descendant and frequent traveller, I have always loved a number of things about Southern Spanish culture.Growing up, we had traditional botas hanging in the house, and I have been wanting one for a while. I finally decided to get one to go with a costume I was putting together, and am glad I went with this one.Though the artifical grey rubbery material keeps this one from having the completely traditional look of the fully leather botas, that is outweighed by its performance and quality for the price. I do wish that the shoulder rope were longer, as it is always easy to shorten the rope with knot placement. Otherwise, I would likely give it five stars.

This bota is fairly inexpensive but does appear to have a decent rubber lining. This is CRITICAL if you want it to hold up. So spend the extra 3 bucks and get one that will last. This one has made it through a couple of rugged day trips. The 1-liter size is also a decent compromise between having enough to drink and not carrying too much weight around.I bought a different one with a polyethylene lining from Coleman (also available here). Those invariably leak, or soon will after some use. Again: Stay away from poly-lined botas. My only complaint here is that the cord is too short to hang it over your opposite shoulder. Because of this, it's not secure during a scramble, and can also begin to irritate your shoulder over the course of a long hike. I'll probably be replacing the cord with a leather strap of some sort. All in all, a good buy.ADDENDUM added 4/20/11: The bota I bought was sold by "The Military Trail Gear Shop." They were the default vendor at the time I placed my order. I cannot vouch for the quality of the botas sold by Rothco or BigFlySports or any other vendor that Amazon seemingly swaps in and out on a whim.
