I've had many of these Stanley steel tapes before. I always seem to leave them somewhere or lose them. I always replace them with the same ones. They work great, and are very sturdy and well made.

As a DIY enthusiast and someone who appreciates precision, durability, and versatility in tools, this Tape Measure has truly impressed me. From its sturdy construction to its dual-scale functionality, this tape measure embodies reliability and convenience in every inch (or centimeter) of its design. One of the standout features of this product is its ability to provide measurements in both inches and centimeters. This dual-scale capability is not only a great addition but also incredibly practical, especially in today's globalized world where different measurement systems are used interchangeably. Whether I'm working on a project that requires precise metric measurements or collaborating with colleagues who prefer imperial measurements, this tape measure seamlessly accommodates both, ensuring accuracy without the hassle of conversion.Durability is another hallmark of the STANLEY PowerLock Tape Measure. This tool feels like it's built to withstand the rigors of any average job site or workshop. Whether I'm working indoors on a home renovation project or outdoors tackling landscaping tasks, I have confidence in the durability of this tape measure to withstand whatever challenges come its way.In conclusion, the STANLEY PowerLock Tape Measure is a testament to quality craftsmanship and innovation. With its dual-scale functionality, good-quality construction, and user-friendly design, it has become an indispensable companion in my toolkit. Whether you're a professional tradesperson, a seasoned DIYer, or a hobbyist looking for a reliable measuring solution, this tape is a worthy investment that will exceed your expectations time and time again.

Stanley all my life has been a go-to tape measure company. I will only use their product as far as a tape measure. This particular model has a 1 inch tape. Which allows you to Extended 10 ft without a breaking or folding over. It is probably one of the highest quality measuring tapes I ever used. Come to the belt clip built right on it. The Locking feature is a great help.

Why is it so hard to find normal tape measure that's not in some size-competition with a Cyber Truck? All the tape measures at big box stores are HUGE and almost never include metric. The Stanley Stanley 33-231 is perfect. It's big enough for 99% of your use cases and includes metric. It's palm sized and built like a tank. Keep your MAX MAN 60-foot anchor in a drawer until you need it for landscaping, and keep this one on your belt.

Works great. For a small light-weight tape, is holding up well. Easy to read, dual system, what more do most people need?

I have never found a pocket tape measure better than these. Especially with the diameter scale on the back, it is so handy. Fits perfectly in the watch pocket on a pair of Levi’s. Is exactly what you need when you’re just trying to take measurements on small items all the time, or maybe you want to measure the diameter of a unknown table leg or something like that.I use mine all the time and the best thing about it is it weigh so little you forget it’s there in your watch pocket until you need it.The only thing on these is they inevitably break right at the end of the tape where the hook is for it to hook over the end of the object you’re measuring. Every single one I’ve had has always broken in that spot. It’s just because the tape itself is relatively thin. But most of them have lasted me several years minimum, you just don’t want to be rough on it. The construction is identical to any other normal Stanley tape measure. But it’s not a fat max or something with an armored blade it’s just a standard Stanley blade.I would say buy one and keep it in your pocket. You’ll be surprised how much you use it.
