Installed this switch, worked for two days and then stopped working. Pulled it out and it was stuck in one position, the plunger part wouldnt move, this caused the switch to short out and melted the harness wires. Had to rewire my NSS harness and installed a new NSS and everything is working as expected. Spend a little more and buy a quality part not ths crap that cost me money to fix the shorted wires.

Fit my 2001 Grand Cherokee with the 4.0 engine/transmission combo. Works well. Be ready for a lot of fluid to shoot out when you remove old unit.

Fixed my lack of backup lights. I do have a warning for you though. The switch is BELOW the fluid level.

This did not fit, even though it says it does. The correct part # is NS11T. Oddly enough it's says that part doesn't fit my vehicle,but it actually does.
