worked great for me till I forgot and left the key on while I was working on it. If you leave it on too long the unit will be destroyed. the directions do warn you about it so it's totally my fault for just being sidetracked, directions are not perfect. there seems to be a thin little clear plastic feeler gauge to adjust the gap, but I had to intuit that myself, there's nothing in the directions about it. Otherwise it fired right up for me.
