Once put together, stand was nice and looked nice, was very sturdy, BUT, our stand arrived very dented on one side of the top piece connectors. It cost a lot of money to be shipped to us, so we did not want to pay to have it shipped back. My husband took one of his tools and had to try and bend the two dents out to make fit. We were perplexed as the box was not dented, this was found on the inside piece after we had already put the whole thing almost together. We were disappointed to find these dents.

DO NOT BUY THIS FRAME!Delivered full of rust inside the pipes (even before opening the package). We still tried to assemble it to see if we'd ask for a replacement product that was not damaged, but we found that the listed weight limit was HIGHLY innaccurate! The frame flipped while gently swinging, throwing me on the floor and nearly breaking a table. It also bent, breaking the frame and making it unusable, despite being WELL under the 440 lbs weight limit!DO NOT BUY THIS FRAME!

I love my hammock chair and wanted to bring it indoors. I was worried because my roommate is quite heavy and I knew she’d want to sit in it. (She’s a fantastic roommate, no hate, just factual.) This frame easily handles 250# in my experience. Good value, too.

I got this for my sons sensory swing and it works amazing for that. I agree with other comments that the back part is narrow if you're trying to swing through it and it probably needs some extra weight on the bottom if you're worried about it tipping over. Its also taller than I expected. It almost touches the ceiling in my basement on the lowest setting.Assembly was easy, no tools required. One of my pieces came dented in a little though so I had to hammer it out to put it together.Overall, I think it was a great choice for my child, but I wouldn't use this for myself as an adult.

Bought my boy a little inside hammock as a gift. Didn’t want to have to go into the attic to mount the thing so got this stand.First and most important: you need plenty of room! A lot actually. I left the stand inside for a week but trying to walk around it just got to be too much of a hassle. So I did end up, mounting the hammock to the ceiling after doing some reinforcement work. This thing is extremely well-built and sturdy! I am 6’ 1”, 230 lbs and it held me no problem!

Pretty simple to put together, seems very sturdy. My macrame chair fit perfectly so this stand is utilized often. All in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase!

Purchased for a hammock chair that my daughter wanted for her room .... & to avoid crawling up in the attic to make it stationary .... This was much larger than i had expected. It fits - it works - it's comfy! But I neglected looking at the size of the piece itself.
