It's made of non-plastic materials (I'm doing my best to replace plastics with other materials). It works perfectly. It's easy to clean.Do be careful when you're basting a hot turkey in the oven, though. Use oven gloves or similar items so you won't burn your hands

Certainly better quality than the plastic blasters that will crack over time, but I haven’t found one yet that wont let liquid dribble out after you’ve sucked it into the reservoir, and this one is no exception. If your trying to suck up some juice and transfer to a cup or pot to make some gravy, you’d better be quick… drip drip.

I do a lot of cooking and baking and this stainless baster beats all the plastic basters I have ever owned -- no contest. It is sturdy and doesn't get all discolored like the plastic does. Plus the bulb is a solid rubber that grips the tube well. Cleaning is easy as the bulb comes off the tube, so it is easy to wash out the inside of the stainless tube itself as it comes with a long-handled brush just for that. We are buying several as stocking stuffers for our adult kids, of course, even though someone will someday "inherit" ours as I see no reason for it ever to fail (we always have grandkids).

I mean, it's a turkey baster. What do you say in a review about a turkey baster? This one, though, is magical and made preparing my first-ever Thanksgiving turkey easier. The included injector needle and cleaning brush are the cherry on top. No issues, worked amazingly well, and was easy to clean. Buy it!
