My stuffer came with plastic tubes. I wanted stainless ones. These work well.

Would not recommend. Poor material quality, all four horns were rusty and not usable.

I was concerned that these might be a bit on the flimsy side but they seem sturdy enough. I have used the one size that I needed and it worked well the grind went through the tube smoothly and it fit my filler just fine. I do not make sausage every day so not sure if these are built for that kind of use and compared to my previous tubes from another filler that did not fit my new one they seem just as well built. They cleaned up nicely and I did not see a hint of rust like you would see on some low quality stainless. I really should have ordered the filler with metal tubes but at the time the extra cost was a bit more than I wanted to spend at the time. The plastic tubes worked fine as well but think the casing goes on these a little bit easier and come off just a bit more smoothly. I cannot say how well these match up with casings you can get but for the size I use it worked just fine. The ends might be a bit sharper than the plastic ones and I did pop a hole at first when trying to get the casing on the tube but I loaded enough casing to fill with nearly 18 pounds of sausage with no other problems and no holes. I don't suspect that this is a problem for most but would mention it in case itis something that someone with more experience than I would be concerned about. I do think that the one issue I had was trying to put the case on the next size up from the one that I ended up using.

The size did not fit, so I returned this product by Canada Post.Refund was originally issued, and then my VISA was billed again, claiming that they had never received the product.

You can't even buy the raw materials in Canada for the price, let alone form it into these nozzles. The parts are smooth, free of burrs and sharp edges, and no obvious seam in the tube.

The main reasons I bought these were their length and straight sides. The one that I had is plastic, which works fine. But it is slightly fluted to help push the grind into the casing. However, this widening of the horn makes it difficult to put my casing onto it. When I do hot dog size sausages, I can only do 4 at a time at the most. With these new horns, my small one is about twice as long first of all, and due to the straight sides I can load a lot more casing onto it.

I sent these to my son along with an LEM sausage maker. I thought they would work better than the plastic tubes that routinely accompany the sausage maker. He was very happy with the sausage maker and these steel tubes.

These stuffing horns fit the Kitchener 5# stuffer perfectly.Except for the largest horn. It's a touch to big to fit through the screw collar. That's not a big deal for me as I have a larger stuffer for bigger casings.Quality appears good. No rough or sharp edges noted but those can be resolved with a bit of emery cloth if I find any. Will update the review should any problems arise.

The tubes are clean, strong and are not magnetic, so most likely stainless steel. And initial impressions they look amazing, they are clean, no burrs and thick metal that wont dent or scratch easily.BUT I have two big issues/questions.The first is the base, it is advertised as 1-9/16" diameter which would have worked with my stuffer but the ones I received are closer to 1-3/8" diameters so they don't properly seat or seal. Annoying yes but I can get a spacer as a work around.Second these are clearly welded both in the pipe itself and attaching some of the smaller flare rings. Run your finger around the barrel and you can easily feel it. I will be testing mine for safety prior to use. I will update my photos with the test strip when it comes in.
