I ended up using it to keep my trashcans from blowing around in the wind. I used a spring clip from an old dog leash to hold them together. This is a nice light piece of chain for almost anything that doesn't need a heavy chain!

The chains appear of good quality and strong for hanging plants. No complaints so far.

I would say this is a good chain, I got the 80 lb and it is a bit smaller than I would want, but true to size of the picture of someone holding the chain in their hand. There is discoloration on each ring from where the welds were made, so it's not perfectly uniform in color. It almost looked like it had rusted a bit, but closer inspection reveals it is just the weld discoloration and maybe a little bit of "sugaring" from the weld. This does seem true to an 80 lb capacity but is just a little small to get any kind of hanging clip around it. It might be about the size you might want for a purse chain, or a little smaller than that, but the discoloration may point you to wanting a chrome-plated chain instead.

This is sorta silly chain. I guess it’s fine for hanging plants but why does it need to be stainless? The product is as advertised. I haven’t tested it to 80lbs but it will discourage someone sltightly if you use it for security chain, it will hold some amount of weight for hanging things from(I wouldn’t trust it for a swing as advertised). At least it’s not that expensive so there’s that.

Very strong stainless steel chain and holding up to a salty coastal environment (5 months so far). I use it to hold outdoor hanging flower pots and I'm tired of regular chains disintegrating into rust. Even with the 5/64 chain, using it to hang flower pots is not using it to it strength potential, but again, I got it because of its corrosion resistance. Also, despite it being the smallest chain they offer, I need something more substantial than wire diagonal cutters to cut it! Highly recommend!

I bought this to string up and use for my wind chimes. It holds them great and keeps them from falling to the ground works great in windy situations also. I have a spinner on it too and it holds that great! Great value for the money.

Exactly as claimed, this is a lightweight chain that would do well for hanging plants.
