If you need rust and corrosion resistance in addition to high load capacity, this is not the multi pack of carabiners for you, once the galvanized coating is rubbed off and it won't take more than a couple years of use in high wear areas, the rust/corrosion begins. Other than that, these are chunky, sturdy carabiners, simple to use, reliable, I'm attaching cargo netting to the walls of the home gym with heavy duty screw in eyelets and these will clip the netting to the eyelets.

I should have read the description a little better when I ordered these quick links. I thought it said 5, but it was 50 instead. I guess I won't run out!Each one of these hooks is made well and look like they will last a long time. I spun the nut back and forth on a bunch of them, and they all moved smoothly and flawlessly.Pros: Heavy galvanized steel. The nuts move very easily and have locking teeth at the top to keep them on. The opening is big enough for larger chains to pass through. The ad says they can support 1525 lbs. and I believe it. They feel very strong.Cons: None.

These quick link carabiners are perfect for attaching tie-down ropes to my tents whenever I do an event. I have all my ropes tied to these links and at the correct length so these save me a bunch of time when setting up 6 tents and a large shade canopy. They are very strong and well made with he screw lock on them I can really tighten it down so it will not come undone. Also great for a chain extension if I need to attach two chains together instead of using a lock.

I've used quick links from many sources over the years. A frequent struggle is needing a wrench to tighten and loosen the links even before first use. This is not an issue with these. They operate smoothly and can be moved full range by hand until your final torque. There are many uses beyond just connecting chains. I like to use them for every trailer to secure the safety chains and break away cable securely to the tow vehicle. Another frequent use for quick links is to attach straps to equipment for lifting with a forklift. Lastly, a common use is attaching gear inside our camper van or items such as a water bottle or an additional gear pack. The picture shown is an example of how we use quick links to stow camping gear up and off the floor inside our camper van.
