I make log chokers with them and attach 3/8” or 5/16” wire rope cables so make the chokers as long as I want…. I have made chokers as long as 250 feet long with these and hammerlock hinges for attaching the loop on the end to this oblong master link

Nice link. Great for connecting multiple chains into a single chain. Strong. Durable. Paint is as good as it can be on something that takes this much abuse
