I used this tool along with the "Furminator", shedding gloves, and a steel comb to get shedding hair out of my Australian Cattle Dog (a dual-coat short haired dog). This was the tool he liked best - not quite as effective as the Furminator, but if he let me use it on him without any drama, then it's the better tool in the long run. It's gentle on the skin, easy to clean, and the dog does not object to it. So what's not to like?

This is a good comb for the price. Seems a little flimsy, but you get what you pay for and it is doing the job it is supposed to do.
