These rods are well machined with no imperfections or burrs that I can find.It’s a perfect 1/4” 20-thread rod.Great!

This is 3/8-16 stainless steel threaded rod (all thread). The finish is beautiful and the thread form is very well done and threads smoothly into the test rig.The listing does not mention the type of stainless steel. The steel is slightly magnetic which leads me to believe that it is not 304 which is a very high grade reserved for food use or marine applications. That does matter for my use. I simply want more life than thinly galvanized hardware store rod.This is not really any more expensive than standard steel rod at the hardware store. Go for it.

I was planning to bed pieces of these #5/1"stainless threaded rods into concrete, to anchor a 4X4 post base. The product page specifies #5/16"-18 as does a thermal-printed label on the product. They, in fact, are #1/4-18. I was able to tighten a #1/4-18 bolt on it and I confirmed this with a caliper gauge. This is not just a 1/16 inch variation, the cross section of a 5/16" round is 50% more than 1/4", so a significant deficiency. Although the product seems fine , gotta give it one star for mislabeling and false advertising.

These rods arrived intact, well packed and their description was exact.Sorry, but it's difficult to say interesting things about hardware. That said, these are what I expected and the threads are in great condition. They will make great stock for a lot of my DYI projects. I highly recommend these to you if you're in the market. The threads are accurate, the material is good and good grief is the price right. Threads rod ain't cheap and you get a lot here in this bundle for a little.
