I almost sent these back. The plating messed up the threads and made the rod too tight to use in most cases. I fixed them by running them through a die.

Returned. The material is super soft and the threads easily strip and glint preventing solid hold.

The threads are OK, but the zinc plating is not well done. In electroless plating, this is an indication of impure chemicals, or using chemicals far longer than they should be used.
