I was having a hard time getting the poultry fence staples into the wood (they're curved and are a terrible design) so I ordered these instead. They're clearly meant for attaching barbed wire, or some thick gauge wire to a fence, and they're very well designed for that. I used it on our 'hardware cloth' (chicken wire) fencing which is a thin gauge much more fine mesh... not the best solution for that. I should have just bought a pack of fender washers and screws which would have worked just fine and been half the price. BUT for the application these are designed for, they're a great high quality product.

We used all 200 of these fasteners to install heavy wire cattle panels to 4X4 posts for a new dog yard. They are heavy duty and save lots of time. We had to take down a panel to install a water line and it was so easy to just unscrew and reinstall later.

These are great for retaining wire fencing my only criticism is that the screws provided are way too long ..Like 2โ and they canโt be used in most applications โฆ the retainer works well (with my own screws)

Expensive ( good idea) screws are dull and hard to use( we ended up using deck screws.)Magnetic bit but screws not magnetic๐คฃ Bit doesnโt fit tight on screw head.Yeah not worth it):
