Couldn't tell from the add photo but the price was worth the try. This item turned out to be exactly what I needed to melt a small amount of paraffin. Haven't tried to clean it yet as I will be heating the unused wax back up several times.

I should have looked at the measurements. This is a small double boiler. If you only have a small bit of chocolate to melt , it should work fine.
