If you occasionally come across a recipe that tells you to melt something (cheese, cocoa morsels, ect.) in a double boiler and you have no idea what they're talking about, this is it. This is the elusive double boiler! I've often tried to wing it and improvise but the recipe is just not the same as using one of these double boiler pots. It makes the process much easier and is best used for recipes requiring you to double boil your ingredient. This double boiler by Tiyoorta is of quality stainless steel and it is well-constructed so I expect that it will be durable over time. It also comes with a heat resistant spatula which is ideal. I highly recommend it!

This double boiler is super convenient for melting chocolate without using the stove. I simply set it on a bowl or pot filled with hot water, and it worked perfectly. Plus, it was really easy to clean afterward.

This pot is smaller than I’d expected. It’s good quality, easy to use and clean. I really like the spatula, but I wish it was a bit longer. I use this for my soap and body products. It’s not thick but it is sturdy and functional.

This little double boiler is perfect for dipping candy centers in chocolate or coating. So many double boilers are large and shallow. For dipping, you need it to be deeper, both so you can fully submerge your candy centers (especially if they are round, like buckeyes), and so you don't have to melt a lot of extra chocolate.This little pot holds two cups (see photo with blue colored water). It sits nicely over a larger pot of water, and it has a pour spout on each side, so it can easily be used by lefties or righties.... in our house we have both.I used it to do both round PB centers and flat coconut patties, and I was very happy with the results. The included spatula is a perfect size and made of silicone.Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of my actual dipping because I was in a time crunch. Next time, I'll try to video and add it to this review.

I was ruining our current double boiler pan and decided to get one specifically to use for the balms I make. This fits our pans perfectly, is the perfect size to produce about 8 2oz tins of balm, and is extremely easy to clean out afterwards. I also really appreciate how easy it is to pour things with this! 10/10 highly recommend - I will be buying more soon!

When a recipe calls for melted something or other, I always hate getting it melted in the microwave and having to be careful so as to not overheat it. Or on the stove top and again having to watch it super close so it does not overheat and boil over. I remember my mom using at double boiler years ago and she never had any trouble with things like that, so I thought this would be a good item to add to my kitchen.This one is small, but I really like that about it. I do not need it for large quantities of anything. Mostly just for melting butter or a bit of chocolate for dipping. It is made of good stainless steel. It has rubberized plastic on the part of the handle one would be picking it up with, so that is nice to not get burned with a hot handle. It has nice pour spouts on either side of it, so it works for left-handed or right-handed people. It does come with a silicone brush utensil.Where the handle is attached to the pot, the ends of it are not quite smooth and it will catch on a dish cloth / dish towel. That was the only negative thing I found with it.I can recommend this double boiler. It is good for small kitchens without a lot of space and for one or two people or recipe melting of things. I like it and I'm glad that I got it.

Got this intending to make my own waxed canvas items for camping but wound up making candles with it too. Love that the handle is insulated and that it comes with a little spatula. The pour spouts are a nice touch as well. Very pleased with this!
