I used these when I restored a bass damaged during hurricane Sandy. I didn't want to spend $40+ for my usual strings. They've been on the bass for two years now and play fine and haven't separated or anything.I don't know if they'd hold up playing out a few nights a week. Maybe the will??

I just got an Amazon gift card and decided to make the most out of it, so I went cheap on the strings so I could grab other items. The day I received it, I didn’t know what to expect. Everything from the outside looked in order until I decided to start stringing. EVERY STRING EXCEPT THE E SNAP INSTANTLY WHEN TIGHTENING. And I play my bass with very loose strings just the slightest twist and snap. Save your money unless you want to do comedy content with the strings on video.

I love the sound but what I dislike it has nothing to do with the product is that I wish they put colors on the end of they steel like the 16 guitar

Let’s just start off by? New strings are better than the old ones you’re replacing. That’s what this is. They are affordable, but do not last long like a major name brand will. If you have a show, gig, etc. they get you through just that. The brightest dies quick. If your a professional or intermediate, it will not matter because more than likely you have the bass and amp to cover this up. :) I will buy again when needed.
