This is different from WD-40 which is a thin oil. This one is a little thicker, slimy, and stays put. That's a good thing in the case of a bike chain I brought back to life. Soaks in and stays on.

I have many Shepard hooks near my patio, also wrought iron gates and small trees, where I hang my hummingbird feeders. The reason I purchased this was for the “main” reason of keeping rust that was forming on my iron gate door. Sure worked! Then I also used on the bottom of my shepard hooks to prevent rust forming on the parts going into the ground! This next one is pretty amazing! I sprayed on the lower shaft sections of those Shepard hooks and also on the trunks and branches of trees, hoping the ants wouldn’t crawl up, and get into my hanging feeders on those hooks or hanging from tree branches. Well to date, no ants crawling up anything and my gate is well lubed! Love this stuff and highly recommend it as a rust (possible ant?) inhibitor! 😂

Nicked my car just before the winter. It kept rust off my car throughout the Ontario winter. I had to apply it just a few times. No rust at all. Works perfect.

I used them on my car tires and catalytic converter which was covered in rust. I sprayed them on several times and waited for weeks for the results. It managed to get rid most of the rust but not completely. It also has an unpleasant smell.

A great rust proof and preventer but doesn't last more than 3 months. Keep on improving

Rust prevents replacing your vehicle parts on undercarriage, on that note: this job can be a messy to apply the oil application, just take your time wile spraying. I used latex gloves to smear the oil around on the metal, then when back over the metal again and rubbed oil in smoothly, It lays on thick, so be sure to rub it around. 2015 jeep wrangler. I had some rust started before using, now rust is stoped in its tracks. Look like new now. (3 cans bought, used 2).

Used this on my small metal dog fence and it worked great at preventing rust. I will also use it on my Toro lawn mower as described in a YouTube video I saw. ***Make sure you spray on a surface that can’t get slippery or use plastic tarps as my balcony was a hassle to clean after and still has some on it after 2 scrubs.***

My six year old truck has seen plenty of road salt in New Hampshire and there is no end in sight. Recently I had a flat tire and went though the drill, discovering that the mechanism for dropping the spare was getting fairly rusty and the spare itself had the beginnings of some rust spots. So I ordered the Sta-Bil, which nicely neutralized rhe rust and left a nice coating that has held up well over a couple of months through some wet travel and gives every indication that it will last quite well. It also lubricated the moving parts nicely. As it is an oily coating, I would use it only on the underneath but the can took care of the spare wheel, the lowering unit mechanical parts, the hitch receiver, and several areas on the undercarriage/ bed. I would recommend it as a preventative measure on any truck with a spare tire underneath the bed.

I've used what I thought was every conceivable spray lubricant and protectant that existed. I recently ordered this for it's claimed ability to tackle mild rust, and protect. It was also a product I've never used before. The can is only 12 oz, but unlike other stuff out there, this really goes a long way. I used it on Sliding Glass door with aluminum frame and rollers (not why I bought it but got carried away with this stuff). This door had lithium and siicone sprays in the past. This Spring I sprayed the track lightly, and rollers liberally, and WOW! Smoother than it ever was. On rust steel bolt locks, my older riding mower, my screw dampened vinyl windows, it worked well too. The spray is slightly foamy, and about and thinner than corn oil, thicker than WD. The surface rust turned from orange to dark grey, and was left oily. Unlike WD, this appears to actually break down rust, and leave the part cleaner, but obviously oily. I used some on many pares of pliers. Lubricates very well, and definitely freed up the hinge pins in a few pairs. WD just evaoporates away, and is a poor lube. I'm ordering my 2nd can of this today! I think I over did it experimenting. This product does have an odor, but not as bad as WD or PB. I wish I knew about it sooner. I recommend this highly. It leaves an oily residue, as any oil would, but it cleans up fairly easy. I don't know is this would be a good penetrant for freeing fasteners, but I can see it has ability to dissolve rust, and keep item lubed. Initial lubrication for low pressure applications is amazing. I'm not sure how it would work in high pressure lubrication applications. Should be perfect for squeeky pins or bushings where rust or other oxidation is present. Took over a week to get with Prrime. Maybe it's the Corona issue.
