Great size for the storage space. Great to have usb a and c. Also feels very sturdy. My only wish is that they could design tne usb cap to be a flip away design like the usb c side. It would probably have to have a different design though give the width of usb a.

A great fast and reliable USB drive. I have an older Dell desktop with a 512GB SD hard drive and 16GB Ram. Cloning my hard drive to a regular USB drive used to take over a day. Then starting my computer from the cloned USB would take over 15 minutes. Now, with this SSK USB, cloning takes only about 45 minutes, and starting my computer from this clone is about as fast as starting my PC normally. Fantastic USB.

This was just as expected. Works well, good speeds. The only thing is the attached cover for the usb c connection can be a little finicky. It's an odd design. But other than that the drive is small, feels solid, and has worked problem free on a variety of Apple computers.

YES!!!! It’s a 2TB SSD in the convenient packaging of a flash drive AND it can be used in a USB A or USB C slot. The speed is also INSANE! It comes with a protective leather-like case but the device protects both ends of itself with a cap on the USB A side and a fold up/down cage over the USB C side. Truly, it’s like an artist married a computer engineer and this was their offspring: a miracle of modern design and technology. I can’t speak to longevity as I just bought it but let’s hope it holds up - it seems well-built to me. :)

Compatta come una chiavetta USB, veloce come un SDD (infatti lo è) compatibile con tutti i dispositivi utilizzati finora. Praticamente una bomba. Über die Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, aber optisch und haptisch macht das Teil ganz schön was her. Ich habe 100 GB in knapp über 20 min drauf kopiert, was ich ziemlich beeindruckend finde. Auch das kleine Etui mit dem Schlüsselanhänger ist wertig gearbeitet. Ich kann also guten Gewissens eine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen.

I was really excited about this item. It worked blazing fast to back up all of my incredibly important photos from my wedding and family ive lose over the years and all of my DJ library as well as original music. I was ecstatic as I cleared the space from my Mac to liberate my MacBook pros disk space.The issue came immediately after using it the first time. I played a video through my television and noticed it would play for a short period then freeze, then play and freeze again. Eventually I’d quit the video and eject the drive. I decided to put the video back on my Mac to stream it and that’s when the speeds became an issue. File transfers of 30 gig down to 3gigs take anywhere from a 4-5hrs down to 40 minutes of time.I9 MBP, 16gb ram - using my Thunderbolt port. There is absolutely ZERO reason it should be so slow. I tested multiple drives and none had this issue. USB disk drives nor SSD’s.I’m going to try the replacement and see how it goes, but at this point it’s going to take my full return window just to transfer the files I cannot lose while just giving up on the others.Oh and the item gets incredibly hot to the touch, as advertised, but at much smaller file transfers than advertised.

I was worried this was going to be one of those big honkin usb sticks, but it's exactly the size of my ring finger and I have pretty small hands. I was really surprised at how small it is. I was initially going to get a little tiny samsung just to plug into my phone but then I saw how fast and compact the higher end had gotten. It IS metal and it feels very well made. The only part you might lose is the USB-A cap but it's on there very tight and definitely won't come out in your pocket. It takes effort.I bought this to use between android, windows, macbook and ios. Media and music production stuff. So I need to use exfat which means to encrypt I have to use a folder encryptor like Cryptomator and make vaults on the drive root. This seems to be working great so far. I've tested between my s24+, windows 11 and macbook pro and everything picked up the drive and was able to treat it as a mounted network share fine. Meaning that I could actually open mobile apps and point to things like my audiobook / movie folders to play from directly, and it worked great. I was worried about that.No complaints at all, zero problems. Came exFAT formatted. I didn't have to do anything. It gets pretty hot transferring but I won't be touching it much.I've never bought SSK, will do more often thanks.

I ordered the second SSK 1TB USB Drive during the Black Friday sale for an up coming project. The specs seem pretty good and the looks in the pictures looked exciting, I was really excited to get this Drive and test it. However, both never arrived. I had to use something different that I had already to had to get the project completed. Very disappointed that both were lost in shipping. Would not recommend.

The USB stick should be considered as a portable SSD. It offers performance similar with my SN750 in an external emclosure. The inclusion of the faux leather case is very useful to me and a nice addition. It is however very heavy for a USB stick, fully being made of metal, so you should be careful when operating it not to break the USB C port. The speeds advertised can be reached with both the USB A and USB C connector.
