Here is a side by side after i had my shield tested against an alimed thyroid shield w same advertised protection. I thought since this was made in USA that i could trust it. Returning.

There’s nothing worse than having to run around the OR looking for lead, only to find that the lead you found was lacking a thyroid shield. This is a great purchase for personal protection in OR cases. Would recommend for anyone who is exposed to Xray radiation and wants their own thyroid shield. You never know what time of antibiotic resistant bugs live on public thyroid shields

Nice size and weight. A lot of shields aren’t long enough in the front. A pattern helps you know which one yours is at work. Also you don’t end up sharing all that sweat with others.

Excellent design. Looks nice. Does the job. Velcro seems not to be very durable. Have only used it for a few weeks and its getting weaker.
