I got this because it came up when I searched for conductive fabric and the title says it's conductive. I was hoping to use this in crafting and then be able to use a touch screen with the fabric. That application did not work.

People don't think electromagnetic propagation be like it is, but it do. I will admit that the uses I put this fabric through were not as thorough as some of the other fabric testing I've done. This sheet will likely be included as part of a sandwich structure with oriented carbon fiber layers all set in epoxy in a heated hydraulic press. It will most likely be added to some more additional materials to add structural properties before being fully qualified in an EMC test rig. In a fast & loose test bed (that is, not clamped in a rig, and not "proper" protocol) in an anechoic chamber, I was getting ~ 50-60dB worth of attenuation, mostly from surface reflection over the 0.5 to 8GHz range. If you plan to use this to make shielding, there are several design rules that need to be met. No seams. No holes. No penetrations. Lapped joints. Openings should be rolled and secured. This fabric is fairly soft and flexible, and will need a protective layer to prevent any abrasion from creating aperture antennae that can amplify signals.
