This is a great pan, and solves a problem for me. I have a favorite "crustless" cheesecake recipe. No matter how tight the springform, though, it seems like there's always some leakage. Wrapping the base in aluminum foil helps, but not perfect. The silicone cover for this pan solves that problem nicely! The spirngform is tight, and the silicone pan is form fitting, so nothing leaks out into the water bath when you're baking your cheesecake.My only complaint is the ridges in the bottom of the silicone pan. I know they're there to help the pan release when you take it out of the oven, but they actually get in the way slightly, and they make the silicone less functional if you want to use just it as a baking pan by itself.But, overall, a really good product, and worth the bargain price.

I make a lot of keto cheesecake, and I often do it when I only have 2 blocks of cream cheese instead of 3. This pan is perfect for this, because the smaller size means the cheesecake will be higher. The silicone outer pan is a nice touch.

I cannot believe it took me this long to find a springform pan that features a silicon sleeve! What an absolute game changer for cheesecakes and other recipes that should really be baked in a Bain de Marie. The pan itself does not reinvent the wheel. It’s perfectly non-stick and it functions exactly as you want it to. The game changer is 100% the silicon glove that it sits in. I’m so happy!

As a Cuban girl, flan is practically in my blood, and a good springform pan is essential. This 8.5-inch nonstick springform pan has become a valuable tool in my kitchen. I especially appreciate that it's leakproof – crucial for a smooth, beautiful flan. I even used it to make a baño de Maria (bain-marie/water bath) for my flan, and it worked out well! While I do prefer a slightly larger and deeper pan for my traditional family recipes, this one served its purpose admirably. The included parchment paper liners are a nice bonus. If you're looking for a reliable springform pan for cheesecakes, flan, or other delicate desserts, this one is definitely worth considering. It's a great option, especially if you're working with slightly smaller portions.

I never have heavy duty/large aluminum foil for cheesecake hot water baths. So I am so excited about this product! Makes it so much easier. I used to forgo the water bath and just deal with the ugly crack in the cheesecake. Now I don't have to!

I'm happy with this spring form pan. It was nice to get the protection and liners, but I still wrapped it in foil when using it to bake my cheesecake in a water bath. Next time, I'll skip the foil and just use the protector. Hopefully, that will save some time and paper.

This is a basic springform pan in a useful size that comes with some extras, increasing the value and increasing the likelihood that the final result will come out right. The silicon pan component can serve as a cake pan on its own or as is intended, it is for use as a water bath and to prevent leakage. Parchment paper rounds already in the perfect shape are pretty convenient and were a great idea to include with the pan. I ordered this for myself, but as its a springform cake pan kit, it would make a great gift idea as well.

I've had the leaking problem with other springform pans I've owned. It is hard to find one that doesn't leak with thinner batter. This pan comes with a silicone sleeve which covers the bottom of the pan to catch the escaping batter. This appears to be a good remedy for the leakage but I would rather just have a pan that doesn't leak!
