I have a threader for drawstrings that has only an elongated plastic loop at the end. I have lost the drawstring out of the loop when I have attempted to rethread the drawstrings. These looked like a more secure way to hold the drawstring end while drawing it through a narrow tube of fabric. The Good:-A lot of the threaders come in the package.-The threaders are surprisingly smooth. Although they are a coiled spring, there are no rough edges to catch on the fabric.-The loop at the end to attach the drawstring is simple and effective. It really grabs the drawstring end.-The coil is flexible enough to bend through small areas. The bad:-NothingThis product exceeds my expectations.

These couldn't have more timely come. We had also ordered a pullover hoodie from Amazon and it came with the drawstring for the hoodie provided separately. Never heard of such a thing, but at least it gave me an opportunity to give this a try. The procedure is rather intuitive, and thank goodness it is, these come without instruction. You feed the more "blunt" end into the channel that would hold the drawstring, and hook the drawstring to the other end. The spring is flexible but solid enough to easily thread through the channel. You bunch up the channel as much as you can, hopefully enough to get all the way to the other end of the channel. In our case, we couldn't get all the way there, so we held the blunt end and drew the drawstring through as we straightened out the bunched up fabric toward the drawstring end. We did this again, taking the blunt end to the other opening and pulled the rest of the drawstring through. Works like a charm. 5 stars because this is a lot better than the coat hangers that I used to use which sometimes would puncture the channel.************** VINE Notice ************************Even though I have been given this product as part of a VINE review by Amazon, my reviews are honest and not influenced by receiving the product. Quite frankly, I could buy this if I wanted it, and I am doing these reviews for fun. I am a 65 year old guy and have appreciated the very clear and detailed reviews on Amazon. I started leaving my own and was selected to give these for products that I wanted to look into. But I will call a dog a dog.*************** Explanation of Rating System *************************My rating system.1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it..

The package of six drawstring threader springs by Keepsweat/Rimech are made in PRC (china). I like the metal springs compared to the stiff plastic threaders. These springs do well with sweatshirts and coats, but I found the springs to be a little more work with swimsuits and pajama pants. The thicker material seems to not catch the end of the spring so much as the thinner material when pushing this through. The springs do bend well and can be pushed from start to finish. I have found that the round drawstrings work better than the flat ones, but the flat ones just take an extra step to pinch them between the end spring. I have fixed several drawstrings with this threader, and it works well. This is a good length for the spring type threader. These are not so easy or quick as the description states, but they do their job.4 stars
