Easiest threader ever. Works well for visually impaired. Can “feel” your way to threading the needles.

My eyesight has been getting blurry lately, so I have a hard time threading a needle. This little thing helps me out. I use it to thread a needle with a good feeling. I am hand sewing the new Qutting bed cover I bought for Christmas.

I Quilt and sew a lot, being an old broad, I was having trouble threading my needles, these have made it so easy to do and I am loving getting back to work without struggling with threading a needle!!

In mid-70's with poor eyesight and shaky hands, I needed a better way to thread a needle for sewing. Perfect solution. You get over a dozen, with a great grip on each. Put hooked end thru eye of needle, then hook the thread and pull it thru the eye.

Thought I was only purchasing four of these. I got a large package of about 12 of them, after using one, I know why….they break easily. They are awkward to use. Great if you have nothing else, but I poked my finger so many times its not worth it

As you can see, there's a tiny open hook that just hooks the thread through the needle hole. They are basically for single thread hand sewing so keep that in mind if you want to use multiple strands of thread for a project or want to do embroidery. The hooks are just too tiny for more than a thread. Works great, but a few threaders were bent or defective, the metal hook piece fell right out of threaders when I lifted it to look at it thus the 4 stars instead of 5. Most seem usable though and there are 30 of them so a few defective threaders isn't enough to warrant a return. The large plastic holder makes it easy to hold and it's better than those traditional metal ones with the thin wire that comes out of the threader, breaks or bends plus you have to get the thread through the metal loop, which can close up when pushed through a needle. I have uploaded a picture of one of these hook threaders compared to the traditional metal threader next to an inch ruler so you can see the size.
