The trailer disconnect brake cable is perfect. Even though the original straight cable was 4' long, I opted for the new coiled cable at 6' long. It was a good choice, the extra length allows the cable to be attached without being fully stretched out, retain some coil and not exerting a lot of force on the pin in the attached position.

This break away cable is a perfect replacement for my RV's trailer brakes. The pin fit in nicely, and didn't wobble around once it was in place.The cable recoils well, althought I wish it were a tiny bit longer.My only complaint is the caribiner, it needs to be a little bigger to fit my GMC Sierra 2500HD tie down hooks as they are covered in spray on bed liner.

I've been looking to upgrade my brake away cable for some time and was happy to see this available through Amazon vine. The Cables that come standard on most trailers is long, can get in the way and tends to fall to the ground when parked. These coiled versions are the perfect simple & affordable solution to that problem. The only thing I did not care for on this particular model, is the carabiner is a bit too small for my setup but i was able to remove the one from my existing cable and attach it to this cable; problem solved.

Good quality, easy to use. The only issue is the pin not fit the original break control. Easy to fix. Just sweep with the original pin. No more hassle anymore.
