The product is good for the price but you need to add a thread hose adapter 1/2 in to 3/4 in order for the out part work. That should be part of the kit but doesn’t come with it. Other than that pretty solid product. On the picture I put the brass fitting that I bought.

Here in Phoenix, we've have extremely hard and mineral water so washing. My car always led to water spots especially when in the sun. The first time I used this filter, I was amazed How nicely my car turned out and that the water was beading up As much as it did. I highly recommend this filter for anybody who wants fresh, clean looking cars

Like another reviewer, I bought this based off Car with Keav YouTube review. I spent a few minutes to cycle the water. I used a 5 gallon bucket to gauge how much water it took to get the filter ready. It took about 8 gallons to get the water to 0. Used for a final rinse on a 90° day at noon to make a worst case scenario and it worked great. As you can see on the hood, everything dried flawlessly. There were so minor residual leftover but I believe that was some soap left behind. Windows wipe clean and I only ended up using 1 towel to clean up some of the excessive water in areas just to speed up drying.Overall this will cut down a lot of drying time and I expect it to get even easier after a polish and ceramic coat. An absolute value as this costs half the price of name brand DI filters. Time will tell.*UPDATE*2 weeks into owning this and I've used it as a rinse only twice so far. I use at most 10 gallons per rinse. Including my initial 10 gallon flush puts me at 30 gallons used so far. Started a 3rd rinse and noticed my ppm slowly climbing. So I've spent the next 10 gallons flushing only to find my ppm slowly climbing. It spikes when I turn the pressure up more. I even ordered a more reputable pricier tds tester which read pretty close to the tds meter provided. So all in all even if I round up on my gallons used to 50, I should still be reading 0 ppm. Totally bummed because this was a great price and absolutely perfect for size and functionality for what I needed it for. Unfortunately they don't offer a replacement. I have to return it and look for another.

My tap water tds is around 440, first 3 times of use (just rinsing) was showing 0 to around 60 on 3rd time. Now it shows 520! (Higher than my tap water).

This is a great portable filter system. It came with a quick disconnect that I can leave on a dedicated hose. The instructions were clear and straight forward. I haven’t checked the hardness after but I could see the difference as the water glided away from untreated surfaces. I will definitely follow up this review after the winter.

I bought one of these and used it for one wash with very high hopes of drying being less important. House H2O is 256ppm. Water at 0ppm for the first use. After 30.8 gallons it was 6ppm. Kind of disappointing. I realized I wanted a dual tank setup with individual resin so I bought a second one of these.I put a hose splitter on the inlet side to use both bottles of mixed bed resin that they came with then a splitter on the outlet side and into the pressure washer. So theoretically with both canisters used together it should last twice as long, right?Another wash and total gallons of 37.9 and it was still at 6ppm. Another few washes and total gallons at 57.8 and now 19ppm. Now I’m at 76.2 gallons and it’s up to 36ppm. This makes me sad since I’m using two bottles simultaneously and hoped to get a few hundred gallons of DI water.I keep the bottles full of water so the resin never dries and I ran 5 gallons through each bottle before starting the count. I only use them for final rinse. Maybe I did something wrong but I don’t know what it is.I have ordered cation and anion individual resin bags and will reconfigure the two bottles to be in line. Hopefully this setup will allow for a few hundred gallons of pure water. I will report back.

This is a very economical spotless rinse solution. I bought some quick-connect fittings, hoses, a flow restrictor, and a garden hose attachment as well as a TDS meter, put it all together and tested it. Can't remember exactly what the results were but I was sufficiently impressed with the performance. It's not the finest quality product (the fittings and handle don't feel amazing), but at this price point it doesn't have to be. I was able to use this without issues on my first try and I don't feel the need to upgrade.I honestly haven't used this for a while as I've started doing rinseless washes and towel-drying, but if I ever want to break out the pressure washer again I'll be following up with this for sure.
