Not great. The top does not fit securely, pretty iffy. Not worth it. Seemed like a great idea at first. Ended up having to use regular shaker bottle, heavy but more reliable or by hand

I’m glad I purchased this. I salt my neighbors driveway as well as ours, this is lightweight, easy to use. Well worth the money. I ordered 2 of them so I don’t have to keep refilling.

We recently had a doozy of a winter storm and this tool came in handy for spreading ice melt. Great for treating sidewalks and drive ways when you don't need a large rolling spreader. Has differnt size holes to control the flow. You can also close the holes and use the lid with it's handle to scoop the product and fill it's container.

Liked the different opening choices. The lip on the pitcher allowed me to spread the ice melt a far distance using the largest opening. Worked well.I did not like the fact that the instruction sheet was inside. I could not figure out how to open the dispenser. On my second attempt the next day I finally opened it and read the instructions. A sticker on the outside would be much better.

So far this does the job. I've spread epsom salt to deter a groundhog. I've used it to spread fertilizer and worm casings on my garden beds. I haven't used it for winter salting yet. The holes haven't been that important. And the opening and closing it where it gets awkward, especially since the handle is attached to the lid. It isn't seamless. It doesn't always go on and off smoothly, especially when it has debris around it. All in all though, I am happy with the product and, it has been extremely useful.
