Nice padding, use them for riding the bike on my home trainer but I feel these would be great to wear under shorts for mountain biking or rail riding

5'11", 150 pounds and bought a small. Fits well, material breathable. The seat pad is OK but good enough for MTB riding where I am in and out of the saddle and shifting around regularly. I have had these for a couple of months and no issues with quality.

I'm new to biking and have recently increased the number a days I bike as part of my workout regimen. I started to feel discomfort in my seat area having bike longer and more frequently. I originally thought I needed to buy a new, more comfortable seat for my bike, but then I stumbled upon these padded underwear. I figured they were worth a shot. When they arrive they felt high quality and durable. I have to admit, they feel a like awkward at first. The padding feels like you are carrying some extra weight in your pants, because you are. Although I would never wear them around, they suit their purpose for biking. They didn't make an extreme difference. It is not like sitting on a fluffy pillow, but it is just enough support and cushion to prevent butt fatigue. So, other than being awkward walking around, they really do their job when riding. I already order another pair, because although they can be washed, they need to air dry. If you bike, I highly recommend giving them a shot.

For less than $15 at the time of this review these are great and feel as soft and form fitting as the ones, I typically buy at my local bike shop which are 3x more than these are. I did a 30 mile ride yesterday with these on and I felt very comfortable the entire time, no excessive heat, no chaffing, and the padding sat right where I like it and didn't have that diaper feel I have had with some other bike shorts. The sizing chart was spot on for my size but be sure to pay attention to the waist size because what people typically think as XXL in regard to shorts and pants is way bigger than what these shorts consider XXL, these are definitely built for someone already in biking shape who puts a lot of miles on their bikes in a given year. I am a 34 waist and the XXL were comfortable but a pair of 2XL regular shorts/pants at Wally world would fall off my body.

Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale with over 1675 members and growing daily, the safety, health and well-being of our riders is always priority one. The same goes for our mounts as well. It is discussed before every slow roll. And one thing all my members know about me is that I love customization and personalization. And if it serves both safety and customization then roll on I say! My local bike shop Cycling Forza in Coral Springs could tell you how much they make from our patronage. And not just for technical stuff but for lots of other fun stuff as well, gadgets, toys and accessories are always welcome. I like to gift away some small safety item to our new members at the beginning of each slow roll, most often it will be a safety whistle to wear while riding. Sometimes the gifting goes to another level. It might be a lighting kit, a set of pedals or grips, locking kits, occasionally even a pair of gloves or a helmet. I encourage my members to keep their mounts very well maintained in order to not get left behind (in reality we would never let anyone get left behind). Anything that keeps you out of danger and improves the experience of riding is for us. And what could be more important for your riding experience than comfy biking shorts? And while these Sportneer Padded Bike Shorts are not actually bike shorts but rather more like cycling underwear. You'll be wearing these under your favorite shorts or long cycling pants. I found the sizing chart to be confusing. But we all know how those charts run when it comes to getting clothing from china. You have to think larger. And I did, getting my sizing just right. The padding feels funny at first but I find that they all do at first. After a ride or three they'll be just fine. I'll wear them around the house for a while just to get the feel of them. The material used feels good to both my hands and my legs. So these are absolutely going to be mine, they go right into the bike clothes drawer. And as always remember:Ride safe, Ride Strong, Ride Happy!!

My son says the padding needs to be a little thicker he felt there was no extra padding to prohibit the chaffing.

5-10, 145ish, smallCycling clothing can be prohibitively expensive, especially for good quality stuff. I was very skeptical of these at this low price point, but have had my expectations completely exceeded. These are very comfortable. The padding is actually better than of my much more expensive name-brand shorts. The sizing chart is definitely weird - it would indicate to me that I'm somewhere between a large and XL, but I know that I'm usually a small to medium at the most. I went with small and they fit great - just like any other pair of Cycling shorts I already own. I don't really know what designates these as underwear, but I tend to wear something over my padded shorts most of the time anyway. These are a great value for good piece of clothing.
