I was needing a little extra padding for some of my long rides and this gave just what I needed to be able to go the extra couple miles without being too sore afterwards.

These are probably great, but I'll never know because the sizing is so far off that I cannot wear them. The sizing chart said I'm a medium, so I bought that.The waist is fine, the butt area is snug, and the legs are trying to cut my legs off mid-thigh. It's like the leg opening is sized for the area above your knee while actually being placed at the thickest part of your leg.Look, we're all shaped differently and your mileage may vary. But these are made for cycling. Any cyclist investing in this product is likely to have AT LEAST normal sized thighs, if not larger than average thighs due to...you know...cycling. These don't seem to be built for that reality.

Got these in a smaller size than I usually get, and while the legs and "underwear" portion were a little on the tight side, the pad is simply huge - and it's not the padding, it's the material outside the padding that is used to attached the chamois. This makes them bulge out when you're just standing around, so they're probably best for fairly baggy shorts.The padding is also not particularly breathable, so although comfortable, I quickly began heat up quite uncomfortably, even at low to moderate effort. I didn't even bother trying these on a faster ride.I will continue using a saddle cover over these, but if you absolutely refuse to use one, and don't mind having a "baggy bottom", then these are fine.

These are so much more comfortable than other models with regular padding. However, they run very small. I ordered one size up and ended up ordering another size up because the smaller one was barely big enough. I kept it for any time i size down, but definitely if you are on the edge of large and xl sizes, definitely go 2x.

So far these are great but as other reviewers have mentioned, order up your size. I ordered up some but should have done a little more to get them just right. The pair I ordered a size up fit but pretty snug. Doable enough not to return but could be better. Will order another pair and go up again. Outside of the smaller sizing these things are great. Really took the stress off longer rides and made it more comfortable. Worth it just mind the sizing.

I was really interested in these shorts because of the chamois. In the pictures it looked really nice. My first impression is that it is a good quality chamois and comfortable on a 13 mile ride last night. I ordered a Large based on the sizing chart but at 6'4", 210, with a 35 waist, the Large are just too tight both in the waist and on my thighs. Also, they are very short...like a pair of boxer briefs...so I was not used to having that much compression that far up on my thighs. The plus side is that the chamois stayed in place and didn't move around at all but the negative is that the shorts were not comfortable around my waste and thighs. In retrospect, I would have ordered the XL size. They run a little small as several people have remarked. Since I wore them once, I will not return them but I might try another pair in XL if I can find a pair with a longer length.

These are comfortable... For the most part. They fit great except for the leg cuffs, they are a bit tight. The padding is truly amazing, so comfortable! Buy them just buy them... Bit one size bigger.

wasnt too thrilled when i heard my husband bought these, i thought they were for his new bike but turns out it was to protect him from ass slaps.i try not to slap him too hard but apparently its too much and he looked to buying these for extra protect.he said they work great and his bum hurts less(on the bike)

After trying a different pair of Baleaf cycling shorts on which the padding didn't fit my sit bones, I got these and love them (now have 3 pairs). I have always had issues with painful sit bones but these shorts plus an extra padded cover for my e-bike saddle have solved the problem. I am 6'1" and 210 lbs which is a lot of weight to put on those bones. I'm 74 and overweight so I wear them under cargo shorts instead of with cycling shorts. The size XL fits perfectly. The shorts wash and dry easily by machine, just keep the dryer temp low-to mid heat. They're excellent quality. Highly recommended.
