This was an actual lifesaver, not only was it compact that it can fit in my grill room, but it pushes a lot of heat, especially for a large groom. Space that I have being that it’s winter time this heater kept my tent at optimal temperatures. It was great because with the censor, it turned off once you reached that point.

This is very difficult to set up for using at higher temperatures, the highest i got it was 86 degrees and it automatically turns itself off without no timer running after about an hour? I set the temperature at 100 and it stays at the same temp of 86 and never goes up, am I doing something wrong or not hitting the right sequence of buttons? the manual that comes with it is the worst manual I've seen on a product that's supposed to show you how to use it. All it shows is what the buttons do, but I need them to explain how to properly set it up without wasting hours of your life trying to figure it out. This is a nice idea but needs to be way more stream line for consumers and easier to use and not so complicated to the point where you need a degree in science technology.

When I ordered this unit, I was hopeful that it would be perfect for one of my 2 hoop houses outside that are 10’ x 10’ each. I had not noticed that it said in about the last description photo that it works for a tent of up to 5’ x 5’.So I tried it in my hoop house anyway. Yes, it did heat it but it was on about 12 hours straight every night and the temperatures outside were in the forties once the sun went down and it will be getting much colder during the day too so it will be on longer and longer. So, even though the unit is 530 watts and puts out a nice amount of heat, my 6ml plastic is not good enough at holding onto the heat enough to make it worth it to have on so many hours each day. Of course this is not a fault of the product.I could see it working for inside a very small greenhouse outside only used if you rarely freeze in your area. You could set the temperature to go on only at just near freezing temperatures. But again this depends the size of your greenhouse, your insulation, and the temperatures outside. So, if you have an environment where it is insulated, perhaps inside a room, this could make it worthwhile depending on your situation. But for outside, it will cause a bump up in electricity bills, and more so the colder it gets. So, it could be worthwhile for me in this way if I was making good money from my plants but I don’t make money from them. The unit is now relegated to being a heater for inside the garage used sporadically for just my comfort. For working on the car, having the 5’3” (= 63”) hose makes it possible to bring the unit to the precise area you are working on the vehicle allowing you to keep hands warm enough to finish jobs that you would otherwise not be able to complete in relatively cold temperatures. Being just 11.8” tall and 5.7” wide makes it very easy to move around.

I recently purchased this heater to provide supplemental Electric Heat to the sealed Underbelly of my Travel Trailer. Specifically, the vented hose made it possible to use it for this application. I will update review after thorough testing.

I own the ac infinity thermal forge and know the spider farmer heater both have their perks. Ac has humidity probe. Spider does not. Spider has day and night temperature setting that switches. I have mine set 76 during day and 70 at night. When the lights go out it has a ligh sensor on the probe.

I had the temperature set for 72 night and 77 day, it worked for a few rounds then you have to hit the settings button and let it blink its way out to get it to turn on even though it was 68 in the tent. Then it would continue to go even after it well exceed the set temp of day or night. You would have to hit set and let it blink its way out so it would stop. I can’t have that kind of fluctuation. I do not recommend if you are looking for something you need a higher temp during the day and lower at night. It is too unreliable and you will kill off anything you have if you are not there to babysit it.
