This is a nice looking tapered ball nose bit with a 1/4" shank that is smooth and oiled against rust. It has specifications laser engraved just in case you lose the box. The flutes are nice and consistent, spiraling up to a ball nose tip. My camera can't capture them well, apparently... no flaws evident.Have to run it for a while to rate longevity.

I do a lot of CNC carving and it takes a good bit to get clean details. I usually rough in the design with an end mill or ball nose mill and then finish the design using these tapered ball nose bits. This bit cut clean without overheating, even after many hours of run time. This is about half the cost of the bits I had been using, but seems equal in quality. Time will tell how long it will last. But it cuts and works perfectly well for now! Good value!
