Wanted to ebonize pine. Watched U Tube videos for weeks, settled on a furniture master that had the correct knowledge to give me the answers I needed for success . He was right and this was the very best option for my project. I am very pleased. Packed well no leakage very best product for what I am doing.

Ohhhhhh this stuff is amazing. I wish the exact same product came in different colors - I finished a mahogany guitar body with this and it just went on effortlessly. The whole thing looks great.

Excellent quality ink, pure or for washes, it's an amazing product, also, it's perfect for underpainting as it dries fast and it's waterproof, tested it a lot of times so far.

I use this on wood and it works great. Once dry the polyurethane mix doesn't pull the color out like it does with stains. Makes my work much easier and gives me a better result.

I do woodworking and I use India Ink to dye wood a deep and rich black. I have no complaints about this product whatsoever, once it arrived and I used it, it did exactly what I hoped it would. However, the operative phrase here is once it arrived. It took several weeks for the manufacturer to ship the item and its expected arrival date got pushed back a couple of times. Mind you that this was not a shipping issue, once it shipped it arrived in a timely fashion, this was entirely a fulfillment issue. So when you order this do not expect to get it quickly. Would I buy this again? Yes, because it works exactly how I want it to. I would just order it way ahead of actually needing to use it.

4 stars due to one minor thing. The cap leaks when you pour it from the spout. This creates some waste and a mess when you set the bottle down on bare surfaces. Not a lot but enough to be annoying if you pour several times.Anyhow I would buy it again. I used this to stain 5 barstools. I sanded the wood very well and applied 3 coats of water based spray poly after staining. The staining very easy to use. Only took one coat with a cheap foam brush. No need to worry about overlapping as it didn’t matter. The consistency is pretty much the same as water. Bare gum wood absorbed it very easy. Porous wood such as oak might require multiple coats. Only ended up using 40% of the bottle on 5 barstools.
