I love these I use them in my classroom each year to make tee-shirts with students, very easy to use and reuse, just wash with COLD water, not hot, after 50+ prints the screens do start to go bad around the edges but that is all I really need them for so for me they work great.

I used to use Ikonart stencil but they were out of them... so I ordered Speed Screens. I did wasted it 1 screen because I didn't watch the video and used it like Ikonart sheet. It looks similar so I thought I knew what I was doing. Wrong! SO please watch their video first if you don't want to waste your money!I actually like this one way better. The screen is very sturdy. It's not very sticky as Ikonart. It looks much clear. No problem with detailed designs.

I use these for glass etching liquid. They work fantastic and can use them over and over again once developed.Super easy to wash as well. Recommend using Glass at least on the top layer to prevent any gaps between your design and the stencil so you get the cleanest lines possible. Practice on a small piece or two first, but if I can do it I'm sure anyone can.

Ok, just thought I'd leave a quick review (as I always rely on reviews before purchases.) I went through 3 screens and almost gave away the extra pack I bought. I tried one more time and doubled the exposure time (using speedball light included in kit) and it finally worked washed clean like a dream, 2 mins tops. 1st screen I screwed up because black paper shifted and wasn't fully under my design so part didn't burn all the way. 2nd screen I stopped rinsing too soon because it looked clear but wasn't clear enough but it had been like 5+ mins so didn't clear enough for paint to pass through. 3rd, I still did the recommended 1 min. but rinsed for like 10 mins and my design started to wash in places it wasn't supposed to and design got "soggy" looking because all the emulsion wasn't washing away. 4th and final time, 2 min exposure, washed off easily & quickly. My design was also a little detailed (distressing) and none of the small pieces washed away!!!! Hope this helps someone not have the same issues I had and save $ and frustration!!

I had high hopes for these, especially because of the Speedball brand reputation. Unfortunately, I wasted all 3 sheets trying to get them to work. I think the emulsion might just be too soft to create detailed screens. I've burned many screens before , and watched the video for this product several times , taking care to follow all the steps carefully. 1. The print and plastic overlay stuck to the emulsion sheet every time and I had to tear it off. 2. When washing away the emulsion, it basically washed all the detail away. I foolishly bought these for a very important project and have no time to get another product before then. If the problems described are due to mistakes I made, I'm all ears. Bummed I basically threw money away.

These are much easier to use at home than spreading emulsion by hand and trying to find somewhere dark to let it dry, but they are MUCH more delicate than screens I've made in a proper studio. I was able to burn some images with a decent amount of fine detail successfully, but after pulling a couple dozen prints the emulsion was falling off in some areas. Great if you're only doing a small run of something, but not if you wanted to make tons of prints.
