According to the emulsion I was using, exposure should have been 3.3 mins for a 50w lamp. The emulsion didn't set up fully. All other factors were correct and triple checked. I am guessing this lamp is less than 50w? I will just need to expose for longer. Also, timer can only be set to 10 mins/light will only stay on for 10 mins. Not a huge deal because I can just use a timer on my phone but still… If you wanted to go longer than 10 mins, you will have to turn the light back on.

The curing light works well. I tested it with curing resin, and it did the job. The light gets warm after awhile, so best to use it with the timer. Everything functions properly. The best part about this particular curing light is the stand. It's versatile and well made.It looks like a black light, so anything white, like your teeth, will have a moon glow look to it. It is ultraviolet light at 395nm wavelength.5 out of 5 stars.

I genuinely love this light. The quality is solid, the UV works really well for screen printing, and it’s just super functional. Setup is a little weird but easy enough. It feels really well-made, and I’m hopeful it’ll last a long time. So far, it’s been great. Will update if anything changes!

The light is very strong so you won't have any problems curing emulsion for tabloid-sized sheets. The light does collapse down to a small flat box, so that is a great plus for storing the fixture when you are not doing any printing for a while. The minus one is for the weight distribution of the lamp. You need to line up the front leg with the lamp so it doesn't topple forward. This is a bit of an issue because you want to put your frame where the leg goes. I just oriented the legs to straddle the frame and I weighed down the back leg with books so it won't fall over the screen. Ideally, you won't need to worry about this at all.

As someone else mentioned in another review, the timer doesn’t work. Which is a real bummer because it turns off after 10 mins no matter what.

It's definitely an led uv light. It comes with a flat head and folding stand which is nice for storage sake. If you have an art studio, storage concerns are a must when real estate is expensive, this definitely helps. I wasn't too crazy about the weight distribution. The directions tell you to balance it with the one foot out, but when you do that, it makes it awkward to put a decent sized screen under it evenly. If you don't do that, it has a tip risk, which, it will. The height isn't the tallest either, it goes about 12-24 inches high (the head) effectively. Combined with the whole foot in front thing, this makes it a bit sensitive to negotiate flat and even distribution effectively When I opened the box, the top glass was already chipped on the corner, theres not bumper on the rim, so I'm not sure if the glass is sturdy enough to handle a fall or 3, which in a studio will probably happen. I suggest a vertical installation or other horizontal installation than relying on the stand. It has a convenient switch on/off and timing. Overall it is completely functional for the task at hand. This gets a five, because there's no 4.5 but even with the quirks, it does the job.

Very Nice for a 50 Watt UV Lamp!!! Instructions are a bit incorrect as you have to (if my memory serves me correctly) hold down the power button a couple of seconds until the number flashes and you can change the number time with the plus/minus buttons. Other than that instructional mix-up, it functions as it should. I am planning on using this for curing some resin art and my daughter can use it for her nail art. The only thing I find a bit awkward is how you need to have a leg of the stand positioned directly below the lamp for stability. If you are doing resin art you would then have to block the resin art up on a platform OVER the leg, especially if the resin liquid needed to settle and be level in a form or mold. It would be nicer and more preferable if the leg was out of the way (opposite side) and the leg was held down and stabilized by a small sandbag that could weigh the bag down. The manufacturer could just include a cloth or nylon zipper bag that is empty and the end user could fill it with sand, pebbles, marbles, or even lead shot for weighing the leg down.
