Used the gold and pink on some embroidered roses. I wanted the inside colored and hate satin stitch. Hasnt stiffened up the fabric and hasnt faded.

These have been a lot of fun to experiment with. Right now I've only used them for linoleum printing, but I'm sure they work great for other stuff too.

I usually love speedball ink, but this set is really thin. When I tried to use it for linoleum printing, I had a hard time getting it even on my roller, and then my stamp was very light. The shimmer was almost unnoticeable even after ironing. I was really excited to use these, but ended up just being disappointed with the viscosity.

This Speedball Opaque Fabric Screen Printing Ink is a fantastic product! The metallic colors are vibrant and shimmery, adding a beautiful touch to my screen printing projects. The ink is easy to work with and produces excellent results. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to add some sparkle to their prints!

The metallic sheen is fairly subtle when used on fabric. I used this for some stamping on muslin, so the results may be different when used in greater quantity in screen printing. The gold color didn't read well on the muslin since there was not enough contrast, but the dark gunmetal worked pretty well. I'll have to use the other three lighter colors in darker fabric where they will pop. Just like other Speedball screen printing inks, a little goes a long way and it's a good quality that's also easy to clean up afterwards.

There's a lot to like about these inks. The hue and saturation are great, especially if you're working on a dark background; there's no background "bleed" like you'd get from cheaper inks. The sheen's nice, too. The bottles are small, so you can either think of them as samples, use them on smaller projects, or even use them as accent colors in a larger design. Like everything else Speedball I've tried, these are top-notch.

One thing that drives me nuts when I am printing is the transparency of the inks. Some colors can look odd when printed on a colored ground. Printing on dark colored t-shirts can be rough if you don't add some white into the mix. These metallic inks are nice and opaque. In my experience they came out nice and bright and shiny exactly as expected. My kids love the colors. The ink was fluid enough to spread and pass through the screen easily but thick enough to be opaque. The sampler is nice to let me try different colors and figure out what I like without investing a ton, but be aware that these are small bottles and you won't get a ton of prints from each color.
