I purchased these for a ceramics sculpture class, and we all were extremely happy with the glazes. Some are a bit thick, but all of them were completely workable. They mix very well. The price per ounce is unbeatable.

Spending $180 on a set of glazes and most of the bottles being half full was a huge disappointment. Glaze is expensive and each ounce truly matters for a small business doing their best. I normally buy my underglaze in 2oz bottles and manage to stretch those as far as humanly possible. So I was so excited to be able to splurge and get a pack of 16 OUNCE bottles to realize I was cut short. I really do hope they do the right thing and reach out to fix this issue. I would absolutely be happy to edit, update my review to reflect their understanding customer service if they do so. Until then, I am not a big fan.

Every color in the box was used like it was return. By the time I opened the box it was too late to return. Was so pissed

Love speedball Underglazes normally. And I switched from duncan velvets to this to see if it works just as well at a lower price.Opening the bottles, the underglazes were just thick and gloopy. And the coverage is thin in spite of that. So I had to paint more layers just to make sure there was an even coat. Color retained it's vibrancy in electric cone 6 firing.Good price, but if I had to keep painting that many layers to get good bright coverage, I'd be buying more bottles in the short run... So not sure I'm saving that much.Still good results... Will see how I like it in a few months of using this.
