Why they don’t give you two of the smaller grommets is a mystery. The small one fit perfectly to insert the breather. The other one was way too big for my PCV valve and I actually had to shave my old one to fit inside this.Both of them were sealed on their bottom ends so don’t forget to cut out the bottoms or you won’t achieve any form of crankcase ventilation. Weird.

These baffled grommets virtually eliminated my oil control problems I was experiencing because I could not use baffled or tall valve covers because of space limitations and clearance issues with my roller rocker arms.

Spectre products have always been decent, these work great on my 302, I have tall aluminum valve covers so the grommet depth is not an issue for me

Great quality, both have premade slits on the bottom. The one for the pcv valve you just push with your finger a little and it will open the slit. Once youve done that it will always open when in vacume.My only problem was with the air breather one. Way too long for my 327. Hits the rockers.The one for the pcv valve is awesome. Used this to install a breather into an old school aluminum valve cover that had no hole or oil shield in place, works like a charm, no oil gets thru or causes any issues w engine

just cut the end off of it push him into the valve covers put your breather and PVC valve in and Ice could fit no leaks they work just fine

My issues with these is that they are so long they were hitting the rockers on my 327 SBC. After running it up the road and back the rubber had torn and needed to replaced. They seemed like good quality but I ended up getting some without the oil baffle from the parts store. I'm sure they may be more suited for other applications but not mine.

Fit perfectly into some reproduction Finned Tall covers I put on my GTO. One has slits in it so it acts as a breather. No oily mess so far but I do wipe it off after every drive. I also have had these in my 75 Formula with cheapy tall Moroso valve covers on a monster 455 I built. I drove that every day for a couple of years putting 15,000 miles on it and they held up fine. I would pull the slitted one out and wipe it off every week or so. The other one I put a breather in. It did seep some oily mist onto the cover. But not too bad.
