Be prepared to work your quad. These do exactly what they were intended to do, relentlessly. I had a worn single spring and decided to go to OE spec with a double spring design. These things are STRONG out the box. I mean I could lay my ex girlfriends left butt cheek on it, and the pedal wouldn't budge. Days later, 200 miles or so with it on, it has loosened up as it should. Still strong but im sure with a few weeks of daily driving it'll be good to go.

Mine was a little tight so I simply stretched them about an inch eachI saw where one guy said it was too stiff so he went to one spring. Keep in mind that 2 springs are not to make it stiffer. 2 springs gives you a safety back up incase you break the main spring. You never want a stuck wide open throttle.

I've been using these for decades on several different cars. Sure, over time the chrome will start to chip but to be honest, for the price they're well worth it, and you're still going to get several years of use out of them before they start to show their age, and if you keep them dry they'll last even longer. They look good and do the job, what more can you ask for? My ONLY complaint is that they're a bit stiffer than they need to be so they often require a tiny bit of stretching, so be careful if you have to do this because if you over stretch them they'll be worthless. Take your time and do it slowly and you should be fine.
