These are great chisels. Full disclosure, I am no cabinet maker or wood carver. But these are solid, heavy, tools, apparently made to last a lifetime. They feel great in the hand, and yes, they are VERY sharp.

So far, I've been using this chisel for about 2 weeks. Mainly working in commercial carpentry/formwork and this chisel is quite nice. It stays sharp and is pretty solid with non-stop hammer strikes. Handle feels solid and comfortable, wish it was a little shorter but not a big deal. If it ever fails on me I will update this review but for now I will just sharpen once it starts to lose its sharpness. Highly recommend.

Got this set to help with some renovations that I've been doing - upgrading door hardware. These are fantastic. Really sharp and sturdy - love that they have caps for the chisels to protect them. I've used all of the sizes for various projects and they work really well. I would recommend these over and over - really awesome!!

I bought this chisel to trim the edges of MDF after it comes off my CNC router. Works great. Trims bridge material flush. Saves a lot of sanding.

I love the way these chisels feel. They are solid built with a great grip on the handles and qood quality steel.My only gripe is that they were not very sharp when received. I spent about an hour sharpening using 320 grit followed by 600 1000, and 1200 grit wet sandpaper. When I was finished, they all worked perfectly. I use them mostly on soft wood and a little oak. Seem to hold a good edge.5 stars except for sharpness.

I needed a set of decent chisels to work solely with wood (not bang around and abuse like my current set). These are good chisels for this price point and will serve me for that purpose.- They are fairly substantial and feel good in my hand.- The weight and balance of each feels right- They arrived sharp and I have not had to sharpen yet, although I suspect I will soon. I like my chisels sharp, so I am sure each user is different- The handles are synthetic (I kinda prefer wood), but I compromised to hopefully get better quality steel and overall product. They are "grippy" and easy to work with, so no issues.Overall, I like them and am glad I made the purchase.
