These add a awesome look to the counters and areas around the house at night. They are just as easy to install as a normal outlet but the night light is amazing. Very good quality and will be buying more!

The receptacle works fine, but the night light stopped working (burned out?) about a year after installation.

We bought a few to try and quickly became addicted to them and have since bought a slew more to install throughout the house. The installation is easy, similar to other outlet installs. They don't take up much more space than basic outlets which is good for older homes with smaller boxes. They light up the floor and pathways really well, but not in an obnoxious way. And easy to turn off (hit the button) if you don't want it on. If I had one criticism it would be the installation. Some newer outlets on the market are at a place where you insert a wire to click it in place rather than curving the wire to screw into the outlet, something I hope all makers move to. We would definitely recommend these to others.

Installed 9 of the ten a couple days ago. In the day, while installing, it seems like they will be too dim to be useful...just wait until evening. Perfect amount of light for getting around. Not too obnoxious, not too dim to make a difference. Will probably be buying more to install in my daughters house! I'm impressed! And price is awesome with the ability to turn off the light entirely if you wish...no reservations about this product!

One of my better purchases. These little lights provide enough light at night to see the floor area to safely walk around eliminating the need for bright overhead lights. Lights come on and off automatically as it gets dark/light. They can be switched to off position if you dont want or need them to light up. I plan to purchase more and change out all floor level receptacles plus one on a kitchen counter wall. Plan to purchase a couple of safety rated for bathrooms. Eliminates the need for any plug in night lights, thus freeing up all receptacle plugs. Looks neater than plug ins and less to clean! Price was good for the product compared to others I looked at. I received my order quickly and in great condition. Make sure you measure the cutout of current receptacle plate to ensure good fit.

Having some lighting around the house is a great thing even after your toddlers grow up - guests, even residents can use floor lighting in the dark, and this really beats having kids' night-lights all over the house being an eyesore and taking up outlet spaces.These do put out a little more light (and a little more upward) than you may think - not annoyingly, but more than you'll think. I typically leave my bedroom door open, and I have a switchback stairway right outside my bedroom with one of these lighted outlets on the stair landing halfway down. I can see the ambient light form my bed. Not enough to keep me awake but it's noticeable (I actually kinda like it), more than a directional plug-in light.Easy to install like any other outlet. Looks clean and nice.
