How Do I Install An Outlet?
- Side Wire: Remove insulation from each circuit conductor per strip gage on device [approx. 4/5" (20mm)]. Loop wires clockwise 3/4 turn around terminal screws. FIRMLY tighten screws over wire loop with the torque force among 14-16 in-lbf.
- Back Wire: Remove insulation from each circuit conductor [approx. 3/5" (15 mm)]. Insert straight wires under clamps next to appropriate terminal screws. Tighten screws FIRMLY with the torque force among 14-16 in-lbf.

Build quality seems good. They look great and fit perfectly, but the [box] screws are difficult and have been a source of frustration. I've even replaced a few of them.

These are the quality 20 amp plugs you would be expecting if you need 20 amp service the fact that they come with free cover plates that's a win-win as soon as I open them up and took a look at it and they were quality so you can't go wrong for the price I mean in the long run you save a lot of money when you can do it yourself right

Needed to replace a bunch of old plugsin my house and shop. Seen these and bought them. Great deal for the number of plugs and the quality of them. Looks good in the new addition on my house and works great. Wish they where offered in other colors besides white. Would like someone to make some quality plugs like these that match colors or look of old style rustic done decor, or a log cabin look. Overall a great buy and a great product. Would buy them again.

Hopefully these last, since I put Alot in a new shop. The TR - tamper resistant is absolutely terrible in these resepitcals!!! I was NOT able to plug into these. So I went through the whole box and cracked open all the resepitcals and removed that nonsense and now they seem fine. The screws on the side for the hot & neutral occasionally gave me trouble because they didn't want to budge, couldn't tighten or loosen without a decent struggle but was able to finally get them to work. I just had to remind myself that Lowe's/Home Depot sells these for almost $4 a resepitcal! They are better built though. We'll see about the longevity....fingers crossed!!!
